FaCSIA Model Trust Deed and Trust Booklet
The model trust deed and trust booklet are designed to provide guidance to families who have decided, after thoroughly examining their options, to set-up a special disability trust. The model trust deed contains both compulsory clauses that are required to satisfy the requirements for accessing the social security concessions, and non-compulsory clauses that provide options for the person with severe disability and their family.

The model trust deed and trust booklet are now available.

NOVA TRAINING
FACSIA has provided a training program for completing the Instruments called ";Getting It Right - Administering the Disability Pre-employment Instrument and the Disability Maintenance Instrument";. This program is currently available through NOVA Employment's Training Department.

";Getting it Right"; is a one-day program designed to help services understand the changes required for case-based funding. So far (March 2005), 680 people from 102 different services have participated. NOVA has delivered the program in all States and Territories, and received excellent feedback.
