Step 1: Job Application Instructions

NOVA has an on-line application process. You will be required to select answers for pre-requisite information, enter answers to some questions, and then attach and upload your resume.

Please make sure you have your resume ready to upload before you begin the process. The application process will likely take 20-30 minutes.

If you are not applying for a currently advertised position, then we will keep your application and resume in our system, and view your application when a position becomes vacant.

The Application Process

Your Details
In this step we will ask you for your contact details, the position and location of the job you are applying for and your driving history.

Job Specific Questions
To get the best candidates we ask specific questions related to the job being applied for. Most jobs at Nova will have questions similar to these:

Tell us about your experience of working with people who have a disability (employment consultants/managers/job coaches).
Give evidence of your ability to effectively approach employers and market our services to employers (employment consultants/managers/job coaches).
Give evidence that you are a mature and responsible person who is a resilient self starter (employment consultants/managers/job coaches).
Give evidence of your training experience (trainers/job coaches)

Upload Resume
In this step you will need to have an electronic version of your resume in either Microsoft Word, RTF or Adobe PDF format.

Review Application
This is the final step where you will be able to to review your application and answers to the job specific questions. If you want to change any of your answers you can jump directly to that step without losing your place.

Finished
Once you submit your application you will not be able to makes changes to it. We will then contact shortlisted candidates by phone to arrange an interview.
